A booking is confirmed once payment (deposit or full amount) has been received and a confirmation email has been sent. Lanka Surf House reserves the right to decline a booking at its discretion.

At the time of booking, you may choose between a 50% deposit or full payment.

The remaining balance, where applicable, is due 30 days before arrival and will be requested automatically by email. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.

By booking with Lanka Surf House, guests acknowledge that surf lessons, yoga classes, and all physical activities involve inherent risks. Guests confirm they are in good physical health and agree to inform our staff of any relevant medical condition prior to participating in any activity.

Lanka Surf House, its owners, staff, and partners shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, or loss arising from participation in activities, except in cases of gross negligence on our part.

All guests are required to hold valid travel and medical insurance covering their stay in Sri Lanka, including emergency treatment, hospitalisation, and repatriation. Lanka Surf House is not responsible for any costs arising from illness or injury during a guest's stay.

All equipment provided by Lanka Surf House — surfboards, longboards, leashes, wax, yoga mats, blocks, and straps — remains our property.

Guests agree to use equipment with reasonable care. An optional Equipment Protection fee of €35 per person per week is available at the time of booking, covering accidental damage up to €200.

Beyond this amount, the guest is responsible for the difference. Theft, intentional damage, or damage caused under the influence of alcohol or substances is not covered.

Guests travelling with children under 18 accept full responsibility for their safety, supervision, and behaviour throughout the stay, including in all common areas, the pool, the terrace, and the rooftop. The parent or legal guardian accepts full financial responsibility for any damage caused by the minor to the property or equipment of Lanka Surf House.

Guests are expected to respect the house rules, the property, fellow guests, and staff. Lanka Surf House reserves the right to ask any guest to leave the premises in the event of behaviour deemed dangerous, disrespectful, or disruptive — without refund.

Lanka Surf House shall not be liable for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics. In such cases, we will work with affected guests to find a fair solution on a case-by-case basis.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising from a guest's stay shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sri Lanka.
